Kids Tennis Programs in Brisbane at Morningside Tennis Centre
Morningside Tennis Centre has a comprehensive junior / kids tennis lessons program that caters to young players of all ages and skill levels. At each stage, players receive extensive direction and support from our expert coaching staff led by Head Coaches Ross Orford and Paul Gibson. Ross is one of Queensland’s most experienced coaches and his extensive knowledge of the game along with his affable nature make him an outstanding teacher that we’re very fortunate to have at the club. Paul joins us from the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria where he has worked as the Head Coach at the Rye and Main Beach Tennis Clubs for several years. Paul will be overseeing our squad program in addition to his role in player development and player pathways.
Junior coaching is available for players aged 4 to 17 years and provides a great opportunity for them to develop their tennis and interpersonal skills in a fun and interactive group environment. All of the junior programs at the Morningside Tennis Centre are part of the Tennis Australia Hot Shots Program which uses modified courts & equipment to help kids have more success in the game right from the word go. As players improve they progress through various levels in which a combination of different ball compression, court, net and racquet sizes will make tennis easier to learn and play. Private and Shared Private Lessons are also available for players wanting to fast-track their improvement.

This is another supplement to the weekly coaching that allows junior players of all ages to continue developing their tennis during the school breaks.
